sunfest 06

this afternoon we went down to the Inglewood Sunfest on 9th avenue. on the way we stopped in chinatown for a thi-thi sub and ended up running over SOMETHING. it is that pink gooey crap all over the back tire and car, it stunk and we couldn't get it off, WHAT THE HECK IS IT??? when cj got out of the car to check it out (it was making crackling noises...) the look on his face was so crazy i just had to get out and look for myself, ha ha, we were laughing, is it a SQUID??? ha ha ha
we finally got to the sunfest where we chowed on kettle korn and purple pop (see elis moustache...)
it was a fun day, we feel pooped and sun'd up.

last day of preschool

yesterday eli had his end of year party at edworthy park. it was a great time, he gave flowers to all his teachers, ms. thompson will be his teacher next year as well (in the pink).

fathers day 06

we had a really nice time on fathers day. everyone met at chuck and sandras for a tri-tip bbq, a house salad, baked potato bar and some chocolatey dessert! lots of fun, on again off again rainy day that turned beautiful and we all love the dads. happy fathers day!

a PIANO?!?!?!!

ok, this morning cj informed me that i needed to stick around the house between 11-1 for my birthday gift. huh? ok, what is being delivered, cupcakes? molly maid? emily? no. to my suprise cj had bought a PIANO! wow, i was so surprised and excited! it is so terrific, eli can start taking piano lessons and i can start taking lessons as well! thanks so much!!!!!

wow, well, if you have been wondering what cj has been up to since MONDAY MORNING.... he got home at 2:00am last night and was zombie-like. thank goodness randy has been shoting with him all week. it is quite amazing the amount of work that has been prepared for, shot and all the post done on.... the magazines these were shot for are AARP, the Cover of Time Asia, and CRN? you can probably see the shots that go together as a group.
anyho, check em out and i will go check and see if cj's vital signs are ok...

eli had his last day of kodaly today at mount royal college, his teacher miss maureen was super nice, she will be missed, she is moving back to newfoundland. e brought her flowers.
eli and cj had root beer floats the other night.
