its been one busy month.
we've spent some time at the cabin, a cub camp, a 16th anniversary, a 39th birthday, a road trip to st. george, utah for a wedding and tomorrow we take possession of a house we have been building for the last 10 months. the house has come together real nice. like a big loft. open and grand.
eli has his grade 4 graduation assembly tomorrow afternoon. the end of his days at tuscany school. everything seems like a big fat muddy transition. schools ending, we get a house/but we don't get a house. it's all making me antsy and freaky and dying to nest or cut a space out for myself.
eli has been actively seeing an occupational therapist for the last few months. she is helping develop his fine and gross motor skills. he has been diagnosed with sensory processing disorder which makes some things very difficult for him. she says "he feels with his eyes". as you can see above, his hand writing is coming along beautifully. i kind of love that.
ida finished up gymnastics, ballet and kindermusik classes for the year. she's proving to be athletic and spunky. she is also a character. as a matter of fact, as i type this (it's 11:55 pm) she is sitting next to me in bed pretending to be my mother. she is curling my hair with an unplugged curling iron, she is offering me a glass of water, rubbing lotion on my arm, smiling at me, chatting, acting motherly. i kind of love it too.
